Recently Voted Upon Club Business
At the September, 2001 meeting, Carl Cipra was elected Speaker to serve out the remainder of the year.
There were four proposals to be voted on at the August 2001 LSF Meeting.
#1 - Donation Toward Network Ad In Worldcon Program Book
Proposed: That LSF donate at least $20 toward the purchase of the full-page ad for the Network in the Wordcon 2001 Program Book.

#2 - Approval of Atlanta Outworlders As A New Network Affiliate
Proposed: That LSF votes to accept the request of the Atlanta OutWorlders to join the Gaylactic Network as a new Affiliate. (This vote is conditional upon
official acceptance by the Atlanta OutWorlders to the conditions outlined to
them by the Network Speaker.)

#3 - Donation to Cover Gaylaxicon 2000 Financial Deficit
Proposed: That LSF donates $925.57 to G2K, less any donations received from this point on. In return for this donation, G2K will turn over all T-shirts, promotional
items, Farscape caps, and disposable cups & utensils left over from the con
suite. (Note - if memory serves, there are 89 G2K t-shirts, approximately 15 G2K volunteer t-shirts, and approximately 15 Gaylaxicon 1999 t-shirts remaining.)

#4 - Bestowing a Life Membership on our Founder, Loree Cook-Daniels
Proposed: In honor of her efforts to found the club and in recognition of over 11 years of success for the group she founded, that Lambda Sci-Fi grant a lifetime membership to the club to Loree Cook-Daniels.
